Community News  The >>ION<< Player config database hits 300
The ION player configuration database now contains over 300 player config. files covering various games such as COD4, Quake Live and UT. We are currently in the process of filling the database with configs of players that attended CiC7 last weekend, or teams registered in the invite/preinvite irc channels.

Find your favorite player config and see if it works out for you. Besides players several fps boost configs have been added as well as movie configs in case you want to make quality fragmovies. Please be aware of the fact that several config settings are currently no longer allowed due to Gameviolation settings. Using downloaded configs is at your own discretion and checking them before using them in a match is your own responsibility. At most it takes a minute.

Team news  Gamerbase Reading HoN LAN aftermath
As you already know the ION.HoN team attended the Gamerbase Reading HoN LAN tournament at the end of February. The team finished 3rd and as promised here is all the information:

Team news  ION.HoN takes 3rd place at Gamerbase Reading LAN
Last weekend the ION Heroes of Newerth team attended the Gamerbase Reading, UK Heroes of Newerth LAN. The ION team got off with a good start by finishing first in their group with ease. The first playoff game was won as well and then the semi final awaited the squad. Quickly a 10-0 lead was taken after which the opponent resorted into a turtling strategy. The choice not to ban Zephyr turned out to be the turning point as the team could no longer push the lanes properly. The game was lost after that and the team unfortunately did not make it into the finals. The consolation final was won and the team went home with a respectable 3rd place finish.

The ION.HoN Gamerbase Reading lineup looked as follows:
